All orders are packaged and sent out!

Aside from a handful of orders that I need to contact the backers about which I will get into later in this update. SO overall everything is packaged or shipped out, and some of you guys even have received your orders already wow! Sometimes it's so fast lol. It took a little longer to completely the 500 orders than I thought, so thank you everyone for being so patient, as one person did it all lol.  Thank you everyone!! If you see a blue/teal bubble mailer, that's the sky dragon pins! :D 

I will be putting the sky dragon pins on me and Braivety's Etsy very soon now that packages are all fulfilled aside from a small handful. I'll make another update when the pins are available on Etsy. :>

Organized little boxes to try and make fulfillment easier, so we could sit in one place with everything within arms length to package and print out orders. 

I REALLY cannot tell you how many boxes and pins we had to work with hahah

but a tiny bit of packages.  been bringing large bags and boxes to the post office through out the month,  so when I say this is a tiny bit, I assure you, it's a tiny bit hahaha look at how many boxes I have above hahaha AAAAHHHHHHH chaos 

Estimated time of arrival!

For National, you should expect your package to arrive no later than 15th of March. Usually takes about 2 to 3 weeks, sometimes sooner depending on how far away you are within the US.

- If your package does not arrive by April it was most likely lost, so please reach out to me and I'll ship out a new package for you free or give a refund if you prefer. Please reach out to me at [email protected]!  I am a lot more responsive over email, and that is a new email that won't get mixed up with junk mail. (if you sent an email at [email protected] that's ok, I'll still get to it :>) 

For International, you should expect your package Late May to June as it can take 4 to 12 weeks to get to you. Sadly takes much longer to get to you depending on where you are.

- If you do not receive your package by late July, it was most likely lost and I will ship out a new package for you free, or give a refund if you prefer. Same as above, please contact me at [email protected]  and I'll help you out. :>

I want to do my best to make sure you all get your packages, and if that's not possible, a refund! 

SHIPPING INFO YOU NEED TO KNOW!

PLEASE KNOW That once packages are shipped out, they are out of my hands.

To this, sometimes I get horror stories of packages being opened, broken/crushed to fit in a mail box it wouldn't other wise fit, foot prints on them, or I kid you not, run over with car marks over the package ripping them, all of this is out of my control, as this is all because of the shipping companies not me. Also sometimes packages just evaporate into the Ether, disappearing with no explanation, especially since COVID I've noticed more "missing/lost" packages more than before the pandemic.  we are going in year 3 of the pandemic and I still have this chronic problem aaagh. :C It's crazy out in the wild. BUT what is in my control is to ship you a new package for free!

- SO if you are one of the small unlucky percent that gets a destroyed/damaged/lost plushie/pins in the mail, please don't hesitate to email me at [email protected] explaining what happened, and I will send out a replacement! :D

- IF YOU ARE MISSING OR GOT A MIXED UP ORDER please also  email me at [email protected] and I'll send you the pins/order you're missing! That's my bad. I did hire some help to fullfill the packages, but even then we are really only two people, mainly one, so mistakes happen and I am willing to fix those mistakes, so please let me know if you're missing something or something's bad or damaged. :>

I will be sending you KS messages and emails! So be on the look out for that. There's a few shipping issues, especially regarding Australia where the borders of shipping is literally non existence I believe because Covid cases are up in the US, or something. I literally do not have the option to send you packages, it won't even let me :C  

There's also a few add-on pins missing, so I'd like to contact those people to see if you want another pin or a refund for that pin.

PINS ARE FINISHED IN PRODUCTION AND ARRIVED AT MY HOUSE! :D WOO!!!

oh my goodness I have like 8 boxes hahahah

I will be beginning to ship out orders within this week and next week! 

So this week and next week i'll be shipping out orders, so for US backers everything should be on schedule to be received by Feb! International orders should arrive in like 2 months maybe 3 as per covid mrrr. but yeah! so at the latest international orders should get their stuff rewards by late April or early May.  :D YAY! I'll give another update for when I finish and everything is out! All the shipping supplies is here and ready to go!

CHECK THEM OUT THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!  it's so hard to get good pictures of how awesome the recessed metal looks lol, so here's my attempts! 

the mini pins are so adorable!  and the recessed metal is also so great! AAAH  makes the stars shine so much!

The recessed metal is so cool! 

it gives such depth to the designs!  the swirls in the metal for the clouds and the deeper parts to create depth, the way they shine in the light is just so unique to normal pins! it's so amazing! I adore them so much!  It makes parts of the dragons look like armor! or it makes the enamel colors pop so much more because there's more metal, so there's such a great contrast of colored enamel and the plating, and the plating has so much character because the carvings in it!  bgfrhjefjrlee it's so great!

The Pins review, and the risk of recessed metal 

This was a very big experiment as this is the first massive order of recessed metal. The only pin I've had before this that utilized recessed metal was my koifish dragons from my Etsy that I featured on the kickstarter  and they are fantastic. However making one pin with recessed metal doesn't make me an expert knowing everything needed to know about recessed metal. This is my first massive order of different designs for recessed metal that really tested the limits of what it can do. While they are SO BEAUTIFUL And they are so unique and so cool! I have also concluded that they do seem to be a bit more prone to defects than standard pins without recessed metal... :C 

  The recessed metal defects are nearly invisible until you flash them in the light, which is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good in that it's subtle enough to not notice upon first and even a second glance, and definitely invisible from afar such as pinned to a bag, jacket, wall etc. but bad in the aspect that flashing them in the light is the BIGGEST trait of why recessed metal is so attractive in design. so grrr...  Which is very very sad considering they are double, (sometimes triple) the price to manufacture/create compared to normal pins.  ... However, I suppose that is the risk of doing anything new... I do thank you guys so much for believing in my project and backing it. Let me clarify that the majority of the pins are not defective! The majority of the pins are incredible and beautiful and the super amazing!

I'm going to try and B grade the pins to separate the defects from the A grades to try my best to minimize rewards to have defective pins, so I'm gonna try my best to make sure you guys get the best pins. However PLEASE FORGIVE ME if some defective pins sneak their ways into your guys' rewards, especially with how sneaky these defects are. and with how many defects there potentially are, I might get to a point where I only have A- or B grade pins. so please understand.  I am limited to what has arrived at my house after all. I'm sure most of you guys understand as risk like this part of the nature in backing Kickstarters, but I'm such a stickler on quality that I just feel bad, and partly held hostage by these defected pins. So could be worse but I'm probably just a bit disappointed cuz I'm the creator and feel responsible for everything as you guys contribute money to this. I Care a LOT about you guys and the quality of product. ,Even though it's completely out of my control to make the pins. but still...  I like to be transparent with you guys! This isn't just my journey making new pins, it's our journey together for you guys to make these pins possible. thank you all for the support!

Quick update. I got some pictures!

Hey guys! :D Been a while. 

This is always always the quiet part of the process with the kickstarter, where I myself, and all of you guys, are all just waiting for production to complete lol. There's not a whole lot that that's going on right now honestly, but I wanted to give a quick update just to let you guys know I'm alive and things are going well! :D

I did get some photos of some of the finished pins from my manufacturer! there's still more than half the pins that still need to finish completion, but here's a few that have finished! :D 

These aren't the best pictures, it's all the manu sent me, when the rest are finished and they arrive at my house I'll be sure to take better pictures that better show the color and the details in the recessed metal!

Still on Track for everything to be shipped by Jan-Feb!

As far as I understand, there has been no delays so far in production! which is great! :D especially with how many shortages that are going on in metals, covid still a thing, and the holidays coming up. fingers crossed it stays that way!

BUT YEAH EVERYTHING IS GOING SMOOTHLY! just waiting is all. Thanks everyone for your patience! :D

Pins are in production woo and all paid for! 

still planning on shipping out rewards in late January-February 2022 so we are on schedule! :D 

Just completed my final convention of the year, and it has been a constant go go go since I got back lol, sorry I haven't gotten to all my DMs yet. I'll be in touch with everyone who has emailed/DM's me probably on Monday or Tuesday at the latest when I'm finally free! but I just wanted to make this quick update so no one is waiting in the dark after a few weeks of silence since I've been traveling. 

 I have charged cards and all surveys are locked!!! 

I said I'd charge cards on the 20th, and hahah a few extra days went by so all cards to those that have filled their surveys are charged and locked! If you have not filled out your survey yet, don't worry you still can and your cards won't be charged for Add-ons immediately, but I will charge the cards to backers every week or so for those that are filling out their surveys late.  be sure to check your spam folders and make sure you're looking in the right email for the survey! (It should show up in the email that is connected to your KS account!) If you have not gotten your survey, put your email in this recovery link and a new survey should be sent in your email! :D https://soaring-skies-dragon.backerkit.com/ if that still doesn't work, DM or email me at [email protected] and I'll get back to you Monday or Tuesday for help! :D 

If your card was declined, please update your card's finances to fulfill your purchased add-ons! or update your card info with another card etc. I'll try to charge the declined cards every few days until it goes through. :) 

If in the future you need to change your address but you can't because your order is locked, just DM me or Email me and I can update your address to your order no problem! :D
